About Bug

Hi, my name is Bug, I'm a 26-year-old Bay Area native living in Oakland! I have over a decade of childcare experience, working with children as young as 5 months, as old as 18 years, & everywhere in between! My experience is broad; from teaching swim lessons, assisting horseback trail rides, being a camp counselor, tutor, teaching dance, & being a nanny, I'm confident I have the skills to support & nurture your child's growth! Some of my fondest childcare memories have been going on worm hunts or explaining the ways trees communicate, & seeing a child's eyes light up with wonder. I'm comfortable doing dishes, laundry & general house maintenance & I'm currently looking to help out in the evenings. I have a degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Women's Studies. I'm currently learning Arabic, how to sew and I will be taking a construction course in December. I have a dog & in my spare time I dance & hike! I'm excited to hear from you & hope you're having a beautiful day!
