About Calista

Hi! My name is Cali! I'd describe my personality as kind, respectful, and responsible. I like working with kids because I enjoy being part of their growth. Seeing a child gain confidence, especially when something is hard for them, feels incredibly meaningful. Kids are resilient, honest, and curious, and it's rewarding to support them as they develop new skills. I started working with kids honestly my whole life. When my little sister was born I was almost 5, and I would feed her so my mom could take showers. I babysat all of my little cousins growing up, some were only 3 months old when I started babysitting them as a middle schooler. I still babysit in college! My skills include patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships with children. I am going into my first year of graduate school at Marquette University in Milwaukee for my masters in Speech Language Pathology.
