About Callie

Hi! My name is Callie. I'm a young but experienced caregiver with diverse experience in care, including advocacy, childcare, elder and hospice care, and domestic support. I provide companionship care from values of safety, joy, and empowerment. I view care as a mutual partnership where the individual leads and I provide steady, respectful support. I am comfortable supporting individuals with disabilities, physical/mental health conditions, and/or multiple complex life stressors. I am experienced in resourcing and advocating within a range of systems such as healthcare and housing. I use a person-centered lens and often incorporate the creative arts, nature, and community, always geared towards the individual's unique interests and experiences. I am skilled in communicating, resourcing, organization, crisis intervention, safety planning, and facilitating joy, comfort, and empowerment. I aim to create safety and empowerment, prioritizing each person's comfort, autonomy, and voice.
