I first fell in love working with children when I volunteered in an orphanage in Thailand. The children there helped me discover that making a difference is what I want to do every day of my life. Next, I worked as a kinder and first grade tutor/summer teacher in Granada Hills. The kids here taught me that children are bursting with untapped potential and imaginative creativity. I continue to gain experience working with kids with disabilities by providing child care to a child with ADHD for about 2 years. My most recent employment is working with adults with disabilities. Here my focus shifted to helping young adults navigate the higher education system. Regardless of job title or occupation, I want to continue making a difference.
