I'd describe my personality as steady, calm, kind and intuitive I love connecting with kids in a way that brings them joy, whether that's creating, learning or working through hard moments of growth. Every child deserves time and attention in order to thrive later in life and I'm always happy to be present in that way. I'm looking for a position that has somewhat flexible hours (I am a college student) and a family who could use more of a regular sitter I started working with kids when I began babysitting in high school. I have always been a built in babysitter to my 5 younger siblings. One thing you should know about me is I come from a big family and as the as the oldest child, I am naturally responsible when it comes childcare. My skills include calm under crisis/pressure and good attunement (I listen to what kids say instead of simply "telling them"). I hope to build relationships instead of being just "the babysitter."
