About Carey

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, warm, and patient. I like tutoring because I believe in every person's potential to learn and grow. I'm looking for a job that allows flexibility. I started tutoring when I was a teenager, helping my younger sibling with learning challenges. In my spare time, I like to paint, bake, go for walks, relax with my cat, and swim. One thing you should know about me is I am a certified teacher. My bachelors degree was in early childhood education and my masters is in teaching with a specialization in art. I am working on my second masters in art therapy. My skills include reading with k-6, writing with k-12, and art.
