About Carissa

Hello and thank you for taking the time to view my profile! My name is Carissa, I'm 29 and have been a full time nanny for 12 years with experience with all ages, primarily newborns-4-year-olds. I was a camp counselor for 3 summers where I lifeguarded, led bible studies, and had 12 teenage girls in my cabin overnights. I've also taught Sunday school in the past, and my faith in Jesus is very important to me. I strive to do everything with excellence, and bring a sense of peace, patience, and love into your home. I am firm but kind, and love the Montessori approach of teaching little ones to be independent and confident in their body by letting them explore and leading by example. Caring for children has always been my passion and calling in life and I couldn't imagine doing anything more meaningful! In my spare time I love reading, playing cozy video games, going to Disney, and spending time with my husband and our Cavalier puppy Lady.
