My name is Carla. I've taken care of a great aunt in my home for 4 years. My Aunt didn't like to get up much so I had to bath and change linens in the bed. I took care of all her hygiene and incontinence needs. I would get my Aunt up with a Hoyer lift when she needed to get up. The level of care given to my Aunt included meals, appointments, giving of daily medication, laundry etc. Since taking care of my Aunt, who is now in a nursing facility; I have been taking care of several seniors housekeeping needs for the past three years or more. Many seniors need my services at least once a month. I also volunteer at an Assistant Living Center, lending Spiritual support and companionship to those who are in need of it.
