About Carla

Hello! I'd describe my personality as creative, kind, & responsible. I like working with kids because their wonder for the world inspires my own. I love creating a safe space where they can express themselves & discover their own potential! I'm looking for a job where I can be there for children as they develop skills and have fun! All while assisting parents with their kiddos. I started working with kids when I was in middle school, volunteering with neurodivergent children & then babysitting/mentoring kids all throughout high school and college. Most recently, I was a middle school chorus teacher for 2 years! In my spare time, I like to read, do crafts, journal, spend time with my cats and/or friends, roller-skate, watch Bluey, or try any new hobby! I am a trained vocalist and music educator! If your kiddos love to sing or want to learn more about music, I'm your gal! My top skills include imagination, patience, & problem-solving.
