About Carla

I have three years babysitting experience as a teenager. I took care of infants, toddlers and elementary school aged children. One family I sat for moved out of the neighborhood, but was nice enough to keep me on as their sitter at the new home. I had a child of my own in the mid-80's, so there's my extensive hands-on experience! Although I am not currently certified in CPR, I have had previous recurring training in CPR and first aid during my time in the military and working with the City of Tampa. As an adult, I babysat for one family in Virginia with 1 pre-school aged daughter for almost three years. They had another baby that I took care of for about five months. They hired me through a different website from care. com. They moved last December, and I moved back to Florida, where I'm currently taking care of my 2-year-old granddaughter and 5-year-old grandson. The other grandparents will be taking over that care, so I will be available to babysit for others.
