Last year, my husband and I quit our corporate jobs to fulfill our life goal of traveling the world for an extended period of time. We returned back to California in the Spring, and have been looking for full time work since. We are currently expecting our first child in late January 2024 and couldn't be more excited! That said, we decided it was best for me to not return to full-time work at this moment. In my younger years, I lived in Thailand where I was a kindergarten English teacher. I love children, and I have babysat/nannied for several families over the years. I would love to help with your little ones ad hoc, but given my current pregnancy energy levels I don't feel comfortable committing to lengthy periods of time. I am happy to: - watch children during date nights or when mom or dad needs a break during the day - help with light meal prep - care for your furry friends while you're out of town - housesit I currently live in Nevada City, CA.

Carley is a wonderful sitter. She's totally reliable and responsible and so sweet. My kids love her and she is great about engaging with them and doing creative activities with them. They actually seem to be better with her than me! We're so happy to have met her. She made our summer so much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend her.
