About Carlyn

Hi, I'm Carlyn! I am a patient, fun, and experienced caregiver with a strong background in both childcare and education. I've spent the past 3 years as a 2nd grade teacher, but I've been caring for kids since high school. Before teaching, I worked for about 5 years at Kumon Learning Center and also served as a substitute teacher for grades K-4, giving me experience with a wide range of age groups. I have been babysitting for several years, and I was a long-term nanny for a wonderful family with two boys, caring for them from baby to early elementary years. My experience includes infant care (feeding, naps, bath and bedtime), toddler routines, school pick-up/drop-off, preparing meals, park and library outings, light housekeeping, and providing a safe, structured, and loving environment. I'm looking for a full-time, long-term position starting in FALL 2026 where I can become a reliable and trusted part of the family. I'd love to get to know your family and see if I'm the right fit!
