About Caroline

My name is Carrie, in high school I took the preschool education class three semesters. I have also been baby-sitting for 10 years and have been a nanny for the last two years as well. I am CPR certified for adults, children, and infants. I was baby-sitting certified through my local park district. I have baby-sat for four main families and others here and there. Three out of the four families I have watched have multiple children, so I am very comfortable with watching multiple children but my maximum is three if the eldest one is semi-independent. I have worked with a child who had Down Syndrome and a child aspergers. Plus, I have helped in a small in home day care facility with a few newborns and have watched children up to the age of 10. I don 't have any philosophies really about the kids I watch because every child is different, but while I am there I push to make sure they use mannerisms and have a creative imagination. For the rest of it, though, I will follow the parent's way of teaching their children.
