About Caroline

Hello! My name is Caroline and I am a certified special education teacher who is looking for an after school or weekend tutoring position. I am extremely patient, positive, friendly, and motivating. I am certified to teach special education, kindergarten through twelfth grade. Additionally, I am certified in remedial reading and language arts. I have spent the past 12 years teaching special education and have experience with students of all exceptionalism. My specialization is working with students in small group or one-to-one settings. As a special education teacher, I am skilled at setting goals for my students and implementing instruction to have them reach those goals. I am Orton Gillingham certified and have 80+ hours of training and have over 1, 000 hours of Orton Gillingham instruction with students. I am also trained in Wilson Reading System and Lindamood-Bell.
