About Carolyn

I am a warm, friendly, and compassionate caregiver with extensive experience caring for seniors, particularly those living with dementia-related illnesses. I believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, patience, kindness, and respect. I understand the confusion, anxiety, and occasional irritability that can accompany dementia, and I am experienced in using gentle redirection and positive engagement to help create a calm, enjoyable environment. I enjoy keeping my clients active and engaged through activities that match their interests and abilities. My goal is to make each day enjoyable and as independent as possible. Because I split my time between NY and Florida during the year, I am not available for full-time positions. However, I am available for select part-time shifts and make an excellent backup caregiver when families need reliable coverage.
