About Carolyn

Hello! I am currently a licensed teacher and hold my bachelor's degree in special education for students with severe disabilities ages 3-22 and will be graduating with my master's degree in special education in May. I've worked as a personal care attendant for a young lady with multiple disabilities since 2015 and am experienced with lifting and transferring from wheelchairs, behavior analysis, bathing, meal preparation and toileting. I am also a certified pre-school teacher and am certified to teach pre-school for students ages 2. 5 to 5 years of age. I worked as an intern at a pre-school program for students in low-income communities (Jumpstart) for 2 years in college, working with children on language and literacy skills. I've been working with pre-school aged students since I was 15 years old, working at summer camps and volunteering in my mother's pre-school classroom.
