About Carrie

I have been babysitting for 23 years. I have a separate associate and bachelor's degree in early childhood education. During my college coursework, I spent a separate semester in each of the following child care roles: 1-year-old room teacher, infant room teacher, preschool teacher, kindergarten student teacher, and first grade student teacher. I spent two summers as a camp counselor and two as a camp director. Also, I have taught swimming lessons for many years. I have full-time and part-time nanny experience. I spent a year living with a family with three children. One of the children had severe medical needs and developmental disabilities. I love working with children because it is so much fun to see their faces when you teach them something new. Over the years I have collected books, kits, and ideas that I bring to the job. Children I care for would say their favorite activities that I bring are science kits. I am looking for additional hours in the evening and weekends.
