About Catherine

Hey there! I'm Catherine :) I'm an Atlanta native, SCAD graduate, and current textile arts teacher at a local art studio in Decatur, where I teach kids ages 5-12. While I love being an educator, I'm looking to get back into nannying part-time! I have several years of nannying and childcare experience, including caring for infants as young as 6 months through age 12. I'm a huge fan of the arts and love getting kids involved in creative projects like drawing, crafting, and sewing! I'd be happy to bring my textile arts experience into our time together and teach your child some fiber arts:) I'm also a big foodie and enjoy cooking nutritious meals and snacks. I'm happy to help with laundry, tidying, meal prep, and transportation when needed. I'm looking for 10-15 hours/week so I can continue growing my private sewing practice, where I teach eight students one-on-one in machine sewing. I'm caring, creative, responsible, and passionate about building trusting relationships with families!
