About Catherine

Hi, I'm Catherine, a mother of two teens with 10 years experience as a Developmental Specialist supporting infants, toddlers, and families. I recently earned my master's degree in Special Education and plan to pursue a PhD. Part-time nanny work would allow me to continue meaningful work with children while working toward that goal. I'm warm, patient, and have a good sense of humor. Children tend to feel comfortable with me because I take time to get to know them and form a genuine connection. I enjoy helping children learn through play and everyday interactions, encouraging their interests and giving them room to grow. Through my work and as a parent, I've learned how important it is to respect each family's routines, values, and the way they choose to raise their children. My professional and academic background also makes me well suited to caring for children with disabilities or other developmental and learning needs. I'd love to find a family who feels I would be a good fit.
