I read all the reviews on this wonderful woman. I agree with everything that was said about her. She is most definitely in her element, gifting, purpose, whatever you want to call it.  She was the perfect fit for our family and especially for our Nana. Cathleen and my Nana really hit it off.  She made Nana laugh a lot and was such an encouragement to her.  I was always impressed by the knowledge that she had in so many different areas. I would definitely recommend her to care for your loved one. I would hire her again in a heart beat. Cathleen is one of those rare people who you can count on to problem solve when family can't be around. Her empathetic but practical approach to treating her clients allows them to maintain their dignity and continue to enjoy being home. Cathleen worked for me when she cared for my elderly mother who suffers with dementia.  I am a nurse practitioner and have rarely seen anyone with the intuitive skills that were exhibited by Ms. F.  She is kind, generous, with a wonderful sense of humor and a superlative work ethic.  I just can't say enough!

Cathleen began working for our family at a critical time. My mother, who was then 74 years old and suffering from complications of Vascular Dementia, was just returning from rehab after having partial hip replacement surgery. She had been away from home for 5 weeks, and we were going from part-time care to round-the-clock care. We were also dealing with major house renovations to make the home one-floor accessible. Cathleen jumped right in, without much guidance...and got things in order in the household. She began setting up routines for my mother and uncle (who also lives in the house) to make sure all the caregivers were on the same page and my mother was receiving gentle and consistent care, which she so desperately needs. Since I am a distance away, Cathleen is a lifesaver -- helping me manage the household, not just my mother's care. She takes care of doctor & dentist appointments, the shopping, most of the cooking, refilling meds, and some of the other day-to-day necessities. She is also an excellent resource for the other caregivers on our team, advising them when they have trouble w/ something, answering questions, and keeping everyone informed of important items/changes through the Daily Log Book that is kept @ the house. It is also a comfort to know that she is close by and can be relied upon, in the family's absence, to stop in when there is an urgent matter at hand. Cathleen is trustworthy and professional, putting my mother and uncle  first, before all else. I would highly recommend Cathleen to any family looking for elder care in their home. We are fortunate to have found her when we did, and have been very happy with her performance. I should also mention that she is a great fit with our family. Thank you.
