About Cathryn

I'm a dedicated 5th-year special education teacher in Richardson ISD, bringing patience, understanding, and a wealth of experience to every babysitting opportunity. My classroom experience has honed my skills in creating engaging and supportive learning environments, which I apply to my babysitting as well. I'm fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), allowing me to connect with and care for deaf or hard-of-hearing children. As a Type 1 diabetic myself, I have a deep understanding of the daily management required and am completely comfortable caring for children with Type 1 diabetes, including administering insulin and monitoring blood glucose levels. I'm also confident and experienced in caring for children with other special needs. I prioritize safety and fun, creating a positive and nurturing experience for every child in my care.
