About Cathryn

I describe myself as nurturing, creative, and humorous. I like working with kids because I enjoy providing a safe and fun environment for kids to be themselves, play, and learn. I also find that I learn something from the kids I work with every day! I'm looking for a job that provides me with regular hours for the summer while I am off from teaching. I can providing additional services, like pet care and cleaning, or tutoring and art instruction. I started working with kids when I was a kid! I babysat in middle and high school. I also worked at a children's bookstore for six years. In my spare time, I like to read, draw, paint, spend time in nature, and cuddle with my cats! One thing you should know about me is I see every day as an opportunity for children to learn and grow. I approach childcare with an anti-racist and inclusive perspective. My skills include modeling supportive behaviors, providing opportunities for creativity, and ensuring a safe and caring atmosphere.
