My teaching philosophy centers on building confidence and a genuine love for learning, not just memorization, within an engaging and patient environment. I actively listen and observe to understand individual learning styles, encouraging open communication and regular check-ins. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrate small successes, and break down complex problems to maintain motivation. As a tutor, I understand that open communication is essential for understanding student needs, progress, and expectations. I currently work for the local school district, curating curriculum for primary grades. The most rewarding aspect is seeing students light up with understanding. I hold a college degree and have one year of experience in tutoring. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I would love to help your student succeed!
