I have been working in childcare for almost 10 years now. I started when I was 12 babysitting for the neighbors during date night as needed. Tasks included playing and engaging with children, infant care, meal prep and serving, light cleaning, and bedtime routines. After I graduated I started working at the Boys and Girls club as a Youth Developmental Professional for elementary age children. There I would supervise children and engage them in fun summer camp activities. During the school year I would provide after school care and homework help. I am comfortable with all ages and genders. I will communicate with parents however they see fit, I can provide transportation, and I am comfortable enforcing rules and following a provided routine.
