Celia did an excellent job at a tough time for our family, with one person requiring help at home and another in the hospital.  She has been empathetic, on top of things, quick to learn the patient’s needs, adaptable and provided the required care at a critical time, allowing us to do whatever else was needed for the family. I am writing to offer my highest recommendation for Celia, who cared for my mother-in-law during her battle with progressive Alzheimer's disease. Throughout a roughly 18-month period, Celia became an invaluable member of our family. She was consistently reliable, professional, and deeply compassionate, always providing exceptional care.

As my mother-in-law’s condition progressed, Celia's role became even more crucial. Toward the end of her care, she visited twice a day to help with meal preparation and serving (also doing weekly grocery shopping), bathing, and assisting with bedtime. Celia always approached her responsibilities with patience and tenderness, and my mother-in-law came to rely on and truly bond with her.

My husband and I have a young family (a 5- and 3-year-old) and full-time jobs and lived 55mins away from my mother-in-law, so the comfort it gave us knowing Celia was there and always responsible/reliable was truly unmatched.

It was an incredibly difficult decision for us to recently move my mother-in-law into assisted living, as we would have loved to continue working with Celia. She developed such a close and genuine bond with my mother-in-law, and we are devastated to no longer have her in our lives. Celia has been taking care of my mother (who has Parkinson’s and the early stages of dementia) in the mornings for the past several months.  From the first meeting with my mother is was obvious not only how knowledgable and skilled in elder-care she was, but also how kind and patient she was with people experiencing symptoms of mild dementia like memory loss or confusion. She’s very attuned to what my mother needs on any given day and even volunteer to pick up things for her if I’m unable to get to the store that week. Knowing Celia is helping my mother start each day takes a huge amount of stress and worry off my mind and I feel lucky to have found her.

Celia he has been a wonderful addition for our family. She takes wonderful care of our mother with dementia. She is nurturing, sweet, caring, engaging with her. She’s responsible and dependable.
