About Charlie

I worked as a teacher in a highly regarded preschool where I care for children from infancy through elementary age. I loved it because we used the latest research in child development to create the curriculum. And that research was the foudation how we worked with, cared for and taught children. As a nanny I am now able to use all I learned and apply it while giving that one on one individual attention that wasn't possible in a daycare. I am a big believer in lots of time outdoors playing in nature. Studies show behavior, physical development and happiness is deeply affected by the amount of movement they have. I find a gentle touch, extra patience and being tuned into a child's needs works wonders as my approach. I have references, been fingerprinted, background checked and am CPR certified.
