I have 3 yrs of experience working w/children on the autism spectrum & want to continue to work with neurodiverse children. I have 6+ years of babysitting experience & can provide references. I'd describe my personality as open, compassionate, & patient. I like working with kids because they keep me grounded in the present. I'm looking for a job that involves caring for, guiding, & helping your child through their day-to-day challenges. I started working with kids at the age of 14. In my spare time, I like to hike, bike, write, and perform at open-mic nights. One thing you should know about me is that I am committed, knowledgeable, & willing to learn about your child & their unique needs. My skills include mediating, active listening, & keeping calm during episodes of challenging behavior in order to help redirect the child(ren).
