About Chelsea

Ive worked in a residential home that specifically worked with residents in memory care that ranges from Alzheimer's, Lewy Bodies, and "typical" dementia. I have a passion of helping those who need extra assistance for a great quality of life, including helping their loved ones who take time to also care for them. This passion has allowed me to find Occupational Therapy. During my clinical rotations it also allowed me to focus on mental health as well as working on adapting occupations with a range of health diagnoses such as cancer, Parkinson's, orthopedics, strokes, TBI's, etc! Meaning I'm familiar with a lot of durable medical equipment. Can even give safe recommendations if needed. I am First-Aid, CPR, and Bloodborn Pathogen certified. As well as very familiar with hoyer lifts, stand pivot transfers, sideboard transfers, and overall sit to stands. I'm always willing to learn and know that just because it works for one person, it might not work for some else.
