About Cherlyne

I began working with children while attending Palm Beach Atlantic University. As an afterschool counselor in the inner-city of West Palm Beach, FL, I developed a deep appreciation that caring and supportive adults can have on a child's life. Working with elementary-aged children inspired my passion for helping children thrive and reach their highest potential in learning, development, and overall well-being. My skills are in nurturing relationships and emotional support, character development and constructive guidance, and hands-on creative learning and exploration. Family is at the heart of everything I do. A part of that is identifying and adapting to your family culture. I take the time to learn your values, routines, and parenting goals. I believe hearing from you and what makes your family unique, allows me to work in partnership with your family and complement the values and practices that are already important to you.
