My experience to caring for seniors is limited to my grandmother, however I learned a lot about what it takes and what is required of me while helping her. I think the most important part of senior care is keeping company and being someone to talk to. My grandmother has dementia and cannot move around very well anymore so I help by giving meds on time, cleaning her house, sometimes preparing meals, and just chatting with her throughout the day. Since I moved away from home, I miss the familiarity of this routine and I know there are people who could use my help.
