We brought my dad home from a very challenging stay at a rehab/nursing home. He required a lot of care and patience. To say we were overwhelmed is an understatement. We used numerous "agencies" to try and get some help and unfortunately were not happy with anyone that showed up and the ones that did often cancelled on us. Finding Chris was a godsend. Once we contacted her she quickly met at our house and listened to what we needed. From the first contact we could tell Chris would be a good fit. She also had great suggestions far beyond anything we could have thought of to make dad's comfort better. Once we agreed to work with Chris, She immediately started coming over and was extremely flexible and willing to work with my mom. My dad was dealing with a plethora of physical and neurological issues. This made him extremely anxious. Chris has such a great way about her and her approach to caregiving. She treated my dad with the utmost respect. She was patient, caring and so sweet in dealing with him. She speaks calmly and put him at ease and took great care to make sure he was comfortable with everything she did. Beyond that she respected my mother and her home and treated her with such care and attention. Chris is a very sweet and kind soul who I would allow to care for any loved one. We just lost dad after a very long battle but Chris was an integral part of making sure he was comfortable, respected and allowed to pass peacefully at home.
