About Christen

Fostering a child's growth and development is my true passion. With eight years of experience working in a private preschool in TX and 10+ years as a nurse, I provide compassionate, expert care for children of all abilities, including those with complex medical or cognitive needs. My approach is patient and calm, ensuring every child feels supported and valued. I am comfortable caring for up to four children and am happy to assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and carpooling. Whether we are playing educational board games or swimming, I prioritize activities that promote social and physical development. As a mother, I am firm with boundaries to help children become independent, capable adults. I maintain open communication through your preferred method to keep you updated on your child's day. I hold CPR Training and First Aid Training certifications. I've never met an animal I didn't love! In addition to my 17 & 19 yo daughters, I have a boxer, a GSP, and two kitties!
