Over the years I have been a companion/friend to seniors that were in need of help or just need a friend. This past year I had the honor of helping a 101-year-old. I did some grocery shopping for her, prepared meals, did her laundry, changed her bedding, chatted over coffee/tea, prepared teas for her and her visitors, carried things up and down the steps for her and watched Mass together. We enjoyed each other company. I loved hearing about her childhood, how she met her husband, raised her children, became a grandmother and great grandmother!!!
