About Christijana

My favorite part of childcare is being a positive role model, representing good moral values, nutrition, manners, and assisting in appropriate cognitive learning development for their age range. I believe being an active role in these areas of a child's life can help them not only in these crucial developmental years but also carry out to who they are in their futures. I also feel open daily communication is important with a child's parents regarding how the child's day went and any highs and lows they may have had. Depending on the age range it varies but some things I enjoy doing are coming up with fun and creative activities inside and outside such as visiting the parks, crafts, picnics, water parks/swimming, sledding, skating, helping out at daycare camps, developmental learning activities (math, writing, shapes, colors) biking, play dates, building creations in the sand, making play-dough from scratch, baking, visiting kid-friendly museums, practicing sports, etc.
