Hi everyone! I'm a full-time elementary school teacher, and I'm looking for a full-time summer babysitting, or nannying, from late June through late July/early August. I'm a NJ-certified teacher in Elementary Education (K-6) and am CPR/AED and BLS certified. I have over 13 years of experience working with children, and I also spent 8+ years as a lifeguard and swim instructor. I have great references, my own car, and am located in Florham Park. I'm hoping to stay local but am willing to travel within about 30 minutes (Morristown, Summit, Chatham, Madison, and surrounding areas). Chrissy has cared for my special needs daughter. Chrissy has an amazing ability to connect with children. She has a fun and childlike approach that allows her to bring childcare to the next level. She engages on a level that meets your child wherever they’re at. She’s not really one for sitting there with screens on…she’s much more about collaborative play and connecting with kiddos in an authentic and curious way about shared interests and activities. She’s also sensitive and compassionate which lends to her ability to provide amazing care. Her smile is contagious and she is the perfect balance of a sitter who is fun loving, but who is also intelligent and easy for children to authentically respect. She also has great common sense and thinks on her feet. Would reco her anyday even for children that typically present with challenging behavior profiles.
