About Christina

I am a Montessori trained teacher in primary (3-6-year-olds) and elementary (6-12-year-olds). I have been a teacher for the last 7 years working primarily with children ages 5 to 13. During college, I cared for children from the ages of 8 weeks to 4 years old as a lead assistant at daycare. My entire adult life has been spent working with or caring for young children. I have a deep understanding of the physical, social, and emotional development of a child and how to support that growth. I believe that it is important to engage young children in sensorial experiences that allow them to explore the world around them. I am passionate about the outdoors, music, art, and reading. Sharing our interests with children allows them to develop their own.
