Experience: 10 yrs
Supporting the independence and well-being of seniors has been my driving passion for the past 15+ years. As a Certified Nursing Assistant and state certified medication tech, I provide reliable, detail-oriented care that allows your loved ones to thrive in their own homes. I am skilled in meal preparation, light housekeeping, and running errands to keep your daily life seamless. My experience includes managing memory care needs, such as redirecting attention during moments of confusion and calmly navigating changing routines. I prioritize your family's preferred communication style to ensure you are always informed. Most importantly, I build connections by deeply respecting each person's autonomy and dignity. I bring a professional, steady presence to your home, and I look forward to helping your family maintain a peaceful and supported environment. I truly find my greatest joy in knowing that I have made your day a little brighter.
Christina was recommended to our family after several failed attempts to find a caregiver who could properly care for my father. She was a breath of fresh air and the first person who finally gave us that sense of relief that we needed. She was competent, organized, knowledgeable and ultimately became our head caregiver over-seeing the schedules, medication management and refills, cleaning schedule and best practices of all we employed (4 caregivers, 2 companions). Some of her duties included but were not limited to bathing and toileting my father, shaving and hair-cuts, driving him places (doctors appointments, silver sneaker classes when he was still able), grocery shopping, maintaining catheter and nephrostomy bags, cooking, caring for his cat, etc. He was 90 with mild dementia when she started with him and as he progressed she made sure everyone understood his pain and discomfort signals as he was a man who always said he felt fine even when he did not. After his passing Christine was a huge help to our family in not only comforting us but helping us get his house in order, funeral plans, etc. We were so lucky to have her and I can not recommend her enough. My father adored her and we consider her family. She is also very much respected by Westminster Hospice Team who helped us with Hospice care at home in my fathers last 2 weeks. They constantly praised Christina to us, adding her to their caregiver recommendation list and making sure we understood what a rare and wonderful find Christina was. I could go on forever and would go over 5 stars if I could.
