Hi!! I'm Christy, and I'm currently a senior at University of Minnesota- Duluth. Majoring in Psychology and minoring in Early Childhood Studies. I turn 20 in February and have been working in childcare for 3 years. I worked at Children of Tomorrow Learning Center in Chanhassen MN, New Horizon Academy in Chaska MN, and am currently employed at Children's Place which is the childcare center located in UMD's campus. Before that, I started babysitting 9 years ago for a 2-year-old boy. Now that family consists of a 7 yr old boy, 9 yr old boy, and 11 yr old boy and I had babysat constantly until 1. 5 years ago when I moved to Duluth for school. Additionally, my family and I welcomed a 1-year-old boy into our home 6 years ago and my mom and I acted as primary caregivers for him. This taught me how to love and provide care for a child with difficult behaviors and previous traumas day in and day out. I am also CPR and First Aide Certified

Christy has been babysitting for us for about a year now; we met her because she works at our kids' daycare. Our 3-year old and 1-year old both love her! She's reliable, always on-time, and truly loves children. Things always run smoothly when she's at our home.. we come home to sleeping children and a picked-up play space.
