About Christine

My childcare experience began when I was 10 years old. I was a mother's helper for a local family with small children, and continued with them for four summers. Through this experience I learned how to interact and care for babies and children of different ages. Throughout high school I had various babysitting jobs, and one regular job with a family of 5 children (ages 3-10), one of which had a physical disability. I've worked seasonally for a local daycare and loved it! I've worked for the YMCA in after school care for 2 years, and spent Summer 2019 working as a lead at Camp for the 4-year-olds. I have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I was a local Kindergarten teacher last year and now teach first grade. I am looking for weekend and summer childcare opportunities.
