About Cindy

Hello, my name is Cindy. I am currently 20 years old, and I have my associate's college degree in educational studies. I will be attending Brooklyn college AUG 2019 to pursue my bachelor's degree in early childhood education. My life long goal is to become a teacher so that I have the opportunity to teach and help kids. I have a lot of experience with kids. For two years, I have been doing an unpaid internship for student teaching at various schools. I have learned so much from student teacher- from how to be culturally appropriate in a classroom to how to teach with children who have an ICT. My last student teaching class had eight students who either had an IEP or dyslexia or ADHD, and students who did not meet grade level expectations. I genuinely believe that you need to embed good behavior and show them the love of learning at a young age. I also clean, do laundry, and can grocery shop. I don't smoke, I am CPR certified, and I am fingerprinted into the DOE system.
