About Claire

Hi, I'm Claire! I've been a professional nanny since graduating college in 2022 and have over 10 years of childcare experience; from babysitter to tutor to camp counselor to art teacher, I've nearly done it all! I have worked with all ages and love them all, but my sweet spot is toddlers (having the most recent experience with ages 9 mo to 3 years). My style as a nanny is fun-loving yet responsible, and peaceful yet engaging. I love as much outdoor time as we can get, like park trips and zoo visits or just neighborhood walks. I recently started a weekly outdoor storytime for kids and caregivers I met at the playground and would love to continue to implement that in my next position, as well as attending local library storytimes. I always enjoy pretend play, reading, cooking or baking together, or arts and crafts. I really value age-appropriate developmental learning, so my play always implements some kind of lesson.
