About Claire

My care giving story began with my two younger brothers. I grew up on a farm and love animals. As I got older, I helped to take care of my brothers as well as helping on the farm. I worked in corporate jobs after high school, then in 2005 I had a beautiful baby girl, and in 2017 I had a handsome boy! For the past 20 years I have dedicated my life to being a caregiver. I have been with a few families and also during that time, I became a Certified Nursing Assistant. This has given me a more detailed education in care giving, including elder care. Through play and learning, kids flourish when they are around other kids. I have done newborn care- including two sets of newborn twins!- all the way up to taking care of teenagers. I have also worked with children with autism and sensory issues. I have also taken care of elderly patients, including macular degeneration, dementia, and language barriers.
