About Clara

I'm outgoing, adventurous and empowering. Working with kids connects me with the wonder of everyday life. Each day contains opportunities for exploration - new colors, sounds, textures, feelings, experiences - and it's fun to share it all together. My background is in gardening, youth education and sustainable agriculture. I started working with kids when I was a young adult, as a babysitter. As I got older, childcare continued to be a part of my life. I've worked in day camps, preschool settings, and as a full-time nanny. I've worked with all ages, from infants to teens. I make delicious, nutritious meals for kids and ensure physical needs are met. I value creating space for the big emotions that come up each day and navigating them together. I take my role in a child's life seriously - providing care and support through ups and downs. In my spare time, I like to garden, cook and hike with my dogs. I love yoga, mixed media art and good coffee.
