About Clara

Hi! My name is Clara and I have a love for working with kids! I love watching & helping them as they learn and grow and discover the world around them. I mainly have experience with younger kids (1. 5-3) as a preschool teacher, but I have nannied in the past for older children (9, 12). As a nanny, I am someone who likes to encourage children to be the best that they can be. I also emphasize compassion and reasoning skills. I like to guide children through their experiences while still leaving room for them to explore & grow. I am organized, timely, and professional but I still place having fun as a number one priority! My experiences with caregiving have helped me know how to best communicate with children (both verbally and non-verbally), resolve any conflicts that arise, be very patient, help children learn through discovery rather than just being told, and have a strong understanding that every child is different and has personal needs that require specialized attention.
