Hi! My name is Clare, and I'm 27 years old. I recently moved to Maine to be closer to family and take a job at the Maine Children's Alliance. Previously, I was a nanny in Manhattan during graduate school and for one year after. I'm the oldest of four siblings and have been babysitting since I was 15. I am friendly, kind, reliable, fully vaccinated, and comfortable with pets. Excellent references are available! During my time in New York, I worked with a wonderful roster of families. Clare is an exceptional sitter who I would highly recommend! My kids adore her and are constantly asking for her to babysit. She is extremely responsible, is confident in setting boundaries for the kids, and is fun and happy to engage with them however they want... you can find her reading, doing imaginative play, art, games, building forts, running around outside, etc. She is also extremely cool and collected under duress - we have had her help out with larger groups of kids including a group of young boys who were extremely wild, and she was cool as a cucumber. She is extremely responsive, great with communication, and punctual. I would highly recommend Clare and we love having her babysit our family!
