About Claudia

I have worked in education for the past five years. I spent my first year in education mentoring high school students and tutoring in History and Sociology. I spent the next three years teaching art and English to third graders, and spent my last year teaching preschool. I am passionate about helping students thrive, and understand what each age demands. I believe my calm demeanor encourages students to feel comfortable with me, and encourage them to ask me for help wherever needed. This allows me to trouble shoot areas of difficulty for them and help them create a plan to understand how they can use perceived weaknesses as strengths and improve. With younger students, I understand what imperative building blocks need to be reinforced so they can thrive.
