Hello, My name is Colleen , I have 38 yrs exp. from home care, hospital , nursing home , and much more, I am a hospice dula , I have experience in many areas, I can work with your family needs , and times, I love my job, I take care of my patients as though they are my own !

My family hired Colleen and her partner last Friday. By Friday evening, her partner had backed out.    Today, in confirming a start date of tomorrow, Wednesday 4/22, Colleen backed out of the agreement and we are left without a caregiver - on less than 24 hours notice, for my 98 year old mother!!

Colleen came to our family at the most trying of times when my mother who was recently diagnoses with Alzheimer's Disease.  She was reliable through the first conversations, the interview process, and most importantly, caring for my mother.  Having a nursing background was very comforting for my family.   I would recommend Colleen for your family member.

I would like to share my heartfelt appreciation for Colleen, who was an incredible caretaker for my mom during her final month. After being diagnosed with multiple myeloma and facing paralysis from the waist down, my mom required compassionate and skilled care, and Colleen provided just that.

From the moment she arrived, Colleen’s knowledge and experience were evident. She was always communicative, keeping our family informed and involved in my mom’s care. Colleen’s gentle and caring demeanor made a significant difference in my mom’s comfort and wellbeing. She not only attended to my mom’s physical needs with exceptional skill but also offered emotional support that was invaluable to our family during this difficult time.

Colleen went above and beyond to ensure that my mom felt loved and respected in her final days. Her dedication and kindness made us feel supported, giving us peace of mind. I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful care she provided. Thank you, Colleen, for being such a shining light in our lives during this challenging journey. You truly made a difference for our family.

We are incredibly grateful for Colleen and the care she has provided for our mom. Our mom has dementia and can be very difficult at times, but Colleen knows exactly how to support her with patience, kindness, and grace. She has a warm personality, a wonderful sense of humor (which is so important when caring for someone with dementia), and a genuine ability to understand and meet our mom’s needs.



Colleen has brought peace to our family during a very stressful time, and we feel extremely fortunate to have found her. Colleen was wonderful in caring for my elderly parents over the past couple of years.  She was with us through my mom’s passing and remained with my father until we transitioned him to an assisted living program closer to family   

Very compassionate and has a heart of gold.

I knew within 5 minutes of meeting Colleen that she would be perfect as a companion for my 89 yr old mother with dementia. She has the experience and the personality that my sister and I are looking for. The only reason it didn't work out is because she's looking for more hours than we can give her right now. She asked that we keep her in mind if that changes and we most certainly will.  Whoever hires her will be very lucky to have her!

Colleen is helping out with my dad, who is on hospice.  Both of my parents love her and are grateful for the care she provides.   We are lucky to have found her.

On three different of occasions she said she would accept the job. After preparing everything for her it was one excuse after another. I don't understand why she would play on my vulnerability.  I turned away many great people and now and left in a very hard situation.

Based on Colleen's impressive resume, I interviewed as a companion for my Mom, who was in the late stages of Alzheimer's several months ago.  

It was evident from the minute I interviewed her, that she was not just competent, efficient and knowledgeable but also compassionate and empathetic.  When my mother would get upset, she could generally cajole her into a better mood.  She engaged with her, even if what my Mom said wasn't understandable, and when Mom was napping, Colleen would be organizing or cleaning and helping me out.

Mom passed this week, but Colleen was there through the very end as an end of life douala.  She cared for her like she were her own mother, and I wish I could keep her on as my own companion.  She made a difference in both our lives and will be a lifelong friend through this experience.
