I'd describe my personality as kind, empathetic, and funny. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy listening to &helping them live their best life possible at this stage of life. I'm looking for a job as a respite caregiver who fills in when your regular caregiver needs time off but will consider permanent. I started caring for seniors when I was very young at the Frankfort Terrace nursing home as a nurses aid, Later as a group home live in case manager for older adult schizophrenics suffering from cognitive issues at Rockford's Stepping Stones, & then Comfort Keepers, Joliet as caregiver for those with Dementia, Alzheimers and health/ movement issues. One thing you should know about me is I am very conscientious, and try to do the things asked of me. In my free time I like cloth doll making, embroidery &crafts My skills include assisting with personal hygiene, cooking meals, light house keeping , companionship, driving, observing medication compliance, great conversation.
