I completed the VA Community Caregivers training and was paid for one year to care for my husband until his death (12-2-23). I LOVED being a Companion/Caregiver so much that I trained as a Certified Home Health Aide. I also took the American Red Cross course in CPR, First Aid and AED. I have a Honda Pilot SUV good for wheelchairs, groceries and trips to the Doctor, library, restaurant or park. I love reading to people and doing art or crafts with them. I can make large puzzles out of favorite pictures. I'm a good cook & housekeeper. I love animals. I was a music teacher most of my life so I can bring my keyboard if your loved one wants a songfest.
