I was fortunate to be raised by my grandparents, and I am incredibly grateful for the generation gap that shaped who I am today. I have been called an "old soul" I bring a positive attitude and a warm smile to my work every day. I use enthusiasm and motivation to encourage clients to participate in activities and daily routines, while also understanding when someone needs a calm, peaceful presence. I am comfortable providing reassurance, grounding, and de-escalation when situations become stressful or overwhelming. My caregiving skills include assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal planning and preparation, cooking, feeding, light housekeeping, laundry, and medication reminders. I also value the little things that make a day feel special--sharing a conversation, listening to a favorite song, preparing a familiar recipe, watching a beloved movie, or simply being present.
